Heritage Home

On March 30, we will visit the Heritage Home with the Bible story, "The Lost Lamb," Luke 15:3-7 and talk about how Jesus is our Good Shepherd who loves us and takes care of us. Warmer weather should be with us by then with spring being here on the calendar, so we will make a spring project to brighten their room, walker, wheelchair. Singing and praying are also part of the visit.

Visitation Care

If you are or will be hospitalized or homebound and desire Christian care from the Holy Cross staff please phone the church office at 634-2332 and/or email Pastor Randy at pastorrandy8900@gmail.com and let us know. Please do not assume that we know your situation because for many reasons we often don't. We will do our best to visit you, and if homebound, bring you communion once per month. In Jesus, Pastor Randy, Pastor Bob (Visitation Pastor), and Barb Wachtel (Parish Nurse)

Great Lakes Scrip

Looking for a way to help out Youth Group without costing you money? The Great Lakes Scrip program is a great way to do that. For more information check out our Youth web page at .

Care-Ring Circle

Doreen Borschel is again updating the Care-Ring Circle list of names. This group is activated when needed for shut-ins, recent hospital returnees, new babies, etc., especially to prepare meals to give families a hand when needed. No need to re-sign if you already are a member, but I’d appreciate a call from those who wish to also be a willing worker.
Thanks in advance, Doreen, 688-8096.

Dream Fund Update

We give God the glory that our Dream Fund continues to grow. Miles are made one step at a time. Since it’s inception with $10.00 in June 2011, this fund now stands at $20,000!!! The Family Center will provide additional space for worship, Sunday school, VBS, banquets, youth/family/senior recreation opportunities for the Clarence Community, etc. Can you see it? Close your eyes and walk through it. Continue to pray for God’s hand of blessing on the Dream Fund and Family Center.

Bible Quote for the month:

“And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you."

~Matthew 6:16-18

Ask yourself :

•Who is Jesus? Everyone who hears the Gospel is forced to make this decision. Was he, (is He),God, prophet, wise-man, teacher, lunatic? Weigh the evidence carefully before you decide. Pray for guidance. Go to church. Keep an open mind and open ears. It is a matter of life and death.
