We all need wisdom- the kind that has worked for thousands of years- to navigate the twists and turns of modern life. Fortunately, we have a record of an ancient father-son talk initiated by the world’s wisest man, King Solomon of Israel. The proverbs he penned contain the most concentrated doses of life-skills ever recorded. In Powerful Principles from Proverbs, Dr. David Jeremiah surveys Solomon’s advice on nine crucial areas of life- from purity to parenting to personal friendships to planning for the future. Ancient wisdom is made understandable and practical for today’s Christian.

Women's Bible Study:

"THE RESTORATION OF A SINNER":

The Women's Bible Study Group will be starting a new weekly "one verse at a time" study entitled: THE RESTORATION OF A SINNER--David's Heart Revealed by John MacArthur beginning in January. The days for meeting in this month are the 3rd., the 17th., 24th, and 31st. We will meet these Tuesdays at 9:30 in HCCC conference room.

For February, the Women's Bible Study Group will meet on Tuesdays in HCCC at 9:30am. Here is the schedule:

February 7th. our topic is "David Repents" . After study we will have lunch and make Valentine Day cards .

February 21st., our topic will be on the characters of Ammon and Tamar, again with lunch following and all occasion and Easter card making.

February 28th. our topic will be on Absalom.

Cards are available in Krampitz Hall in the display case. We ask for a free will offering for them for our ongoing support of Habitat/ Buffalo.

We invite all women of the church to join us. Books will be available for study, the coffee is on and the "goodies" are luscious ( Holy Cross has MANY fine bakers). So consider meeting with us when you can and join in the in depth study of God's Word. You'll be blessed by it!
